About Andrea Sherman

Andrea Sherman, a native of Boston, began her career in design in South Florida, upon graduating from Boston University and The Art Institute of Boston, Massachusetts.

An early venture in furniture retailing led to the design and specification of a retail furniture store, “Ambiance”, where she offered an Interior Design Service. A love of designing furniture led to a custom upholstery furniture showroom in the Miami Design District. In 1983 she joined a prominent local interior design firm which specialized in model homes.

In 1987 she founded her own interior design firm Andrea Sherman Design Associates offering expertise in many aspects of design to include custom home remodels, model homes, lighting design, custom furniture design and interior architectural details. Andrea is an allied member of ASID and a Florida State licensed interior designer, FL LIC No. ID0004476. She lives in Delray Beach in a historic neighborhood. She loves her dog
(who is way bigger than she is) and anything related to design.
